Large-Scale Data Migration for NBFC

  • We use AWS Snowball devices for large-scale, secure data migrations, transferring terabytes of critical business data from on-premises sources to Amazon S3.
  • After migration to Amazon S3, we create and apply an S3 lifecycle policy to automatically transition eligible objects to Amazon S3 Glacier Deep Archive for long-term, low-cost storage
  • Lifecycle policy details: The policy is configured to move objects to Glacier Deep Archive after a defined number of days, based on compliance, retention, or cost requirements.

This combination enables scalable migration, secure storage, and cost optimization by leveraging Snowball for bulk transfers and lifecycle policies for automated archival.
