Developed and piloted a comprehensive disaster recovery solution for a textile manufacturing company in Tirupur, leveraging AWS native services for cost-effectiveness.


Key Components:

• Automated backups using AWS Backup

• Cross-region replication with S3

• Recovery automation using CloudEndure for continuous data replication


CloudEndure Disaster Recovery:

• CloudEndure provides continuous, block-level replication of source servers to a staging area in the target AWS region

• Maintains lightweight staging instances that convert to full production instances during failover

• Enables RPO of seconds and RTO of minutes

• Architecture includes replication agents, staging area, and automated orchestration for failover

Current Status Notes:

• CloudEndure reached end-of-life and has been replaced by AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery (AWS DRS)

• AWS DRS provides the same continuous replication capabilities with enhanced AWS integration

• Organizations using CloudEndure should migrate to AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery


The pilot successfully demonstrated rapid recovery capabilities with RTO and RPO targets aligned with business requirements while optimizing costs through intelligent tiering and lifecycle policies. The solution provided the organization with peace of mind and business continuity assurance.

Large-Scale Data Migration for NBFC

We use AWS Snowball devices for large-scale, secure data migrations, transferring terabytes of critical business data from on-premises sources to Amazon S3. After migration to Amazon S3, we create and apply an S3 lifecycle policy to automatically transition eligible objects to Amazon S3 Glacier Deep Archive for long-term, low-cost storage Lifecycle policy details: The policy is configured to move objects to Glacier Deep Archive after a defined number of days, based on compliance, retention, or cost requirements. This combination enables scalable migration, secure storage, and cost optimization by leveraging Snowball for bulk transfers and lifecycle policies for automated archival.
